Megaphone seeks to change that. Every two weeks, one hot topic that is being debated by our federal pollies is selected for vote. You can then cast your vote on this topic.

With enough votes we hope that our leaders will begin again to take note of the popular voice – a true democracy.

Over time you'll be able to see which political party you are more closely aligned to and, by the next election, be comfortable placing a vote for the people that best represent you.

Megaphone is not affiliated to any political party or special interest group and aims to remain neutral.

In 2009 our agency (www.channelzero.com.au) staff were having a casual chat around the water cooler. It became apparent that most of them didn’t know what our political parties stood for or who they should vote for. From this we decided that if our staff didn’t know then probably there are a lot of people in the same boat.

As we can build and design websites, during our downtime we thought up Megaphone. We wanted an unbiased, easy to navigate and a non-aligned political site that would help every Australian make a more educated vote at the next election.
